Didi Cowles, RYT 200
Didi has been practicing yoga for over a decade. She loves how it compliments her other physical endeavors by building strength, flexibility and resilience. Unlike other forms of physical activity, she finds yoga goes beyond to establish an inner peace. It is the connection of mind, body and soul through breathwork and movement that makes yoga so powerful. Getting on the mat serves as a reminder to slow down and focus on what’s really important. It serves as a daily reminder of living in the moment and cultivates a level of gratitude. Didi completed her 200-teacher training in 2014 in Vail CO, under Karen Anderson. While living in Colorado, she taught at the Vail Athletic Club and Avon Recreation Center. She also taught a weekly class to high school students at Eagle Valley High school. Since being back in Connecticut, she has taught at the Center, Luna Vinyasa, and Saybrook Point Inn. Her classes focus on using breathwork to deepen postures. Didi is very excited to be back teaching at Luna Vinyasa.
